Architectural Survey Plat
An Architectural Survey Plat is a Land Survey Plat showing topo-graphic features such as buildings, utility locations, elevations and/or elevation contouring together with features such as drainage patterns, locations of rock outcroppings, streams, hills and other natural features. Existing ground elevations are represented by contour lines at intervals specified by the client or determined by the flatness or steepness of the terrain. Other important elevations, such as sanitary and storm sewer inverts or high/low points, are specifically shown.
An Architectural Survey Plat is often requested by engineers, architects or building contractors who need to know information about overall site topography and grades for proposed construction and development purposes.
